About the Author

Elizabeth “Amber Love” Delaney is a New Jersey author of novels, comics, and short stories. She’s the author of the medium-boiled amateur sleuth Farrah Wethers Mysteries. Her urban fantasy Bear Roots was inspired by a real life black bear in New Jersey who was special to the community. Misty Murder embraces over-the-top slashers mixed with a mystery. She’s been published in the Anthony Award nominated Protectors 2: Heroes and an action-adventure anthology about the character Athena Voltaire created by Steve Bryant in Athena Voltaire: Pulp Tales

Amber has also done a little bit of writing in comics including  “Holyoak,” “Slim & Posh,” “Teen Detective,” and “Left Behind” for RISE: Comics Against Bullying; she also guest wrote for the “Subculture” webcomic and co-wrote “No. 130, For Love” in the Shakespeare Shaken anthology. In 2020, she had a short comic in the anthology Insider Art edited by Shelly Bond.

Weekly cat detective stories are inspired by daily hikes with feline companions, Gus and Oliver. In those adventurous case files, we explore not only the world inside the house, but outside in nature surrounded by wildlife and supernatural creatures!
